ANIECA

Founded in 1960, ANIECA is the oldest and most representative driving school association in Portugal.

Born from the need to defend and support driving school owners, our activities include technical, pedagogical, legal and organizational support to our associates.

But we are also responsible for professional training of portuguese driving teachers, managers and examiners and for the autonomous management of six driving test centers that serve all driving schools, whether associated or not.

ANIECA board works hard to contribute to improve road safety and to create an healthy sector of activity. We promote constant contacts with national authorities and with our similar foreign associations, following economical and social evolution, changing experiences and knowledge, developing tools and trying to create the best condition for quality training and evaluation.

ANIECA defends that an organized educational process to obtain a driving license, in a driving school, with licensed facilities/vehicles and with professional teachers is the best way to create safe drivers. We try to contribute to the strengthening of our associates in all operational areas, in order to promote their consistent and prestigious growth.

At the same time, we claim a serious and rigorous driver evaluation system, focused on safety.

Hoping to meet the needs of our Associates and to reduce road fatalities ANIECA developed the campaign “Mission Zero”. Our goal is that every single teacher, manager or examiner develop their greatest effort to ensure that no candidate trained or evaluated by him/her dies or is seriously injured on the road. We need the maximum individual commitment of each one of us to achieve the common goal of eliminate road deaths.

It is with the same desire and ambition that we have the honor of organize and host the 57th CIECA Congress in the city of Porto.

We are working hard to make this a memorable event.
